1. Acceptance

By accessing or using TideStrike (“the platform”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Informational Use Only

TideStrike provides tide charts, fishing forecasts, species regulation summaries, and community content for planning purposes only. All data — including tide predictions, weather conditions, and fishing regulation summaries — is informational and may not reflect current conditions or law.

Always confirm fishing regulations with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) at myfwc.com before harvesting fish. A valid Florida saltwater fishing license and applicable species permits are your responsibility.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your password or allow others to use your account.

4. Community Content

You may post catch reports, photos, bait sightings, and forum posts. By posting, you grant TideStrike a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform. You are solely responsible for content you submit.

Do not post content that is:

• Illegal, harassing, or harmful to other users
• Spam or commercial advertising without permission
• False location data or fabricated catch reports intended to mislead
• Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights

5. No Liability for Fishing Outcomes

TideStrike is not responsible for the outcomes of fishing trips planned using data from the platform. Tide, weather, and solunar data is provided as-is. Conditions on the water can change rapidly. Always prioritize safety and use your own judgment.

6. Intellectual Property

The TideStrike platform, its design, code, and original content are owned by TideStrike. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce platform content for commercial use without written permission. Data provided by NOAA and other public agencies is subject to their respective terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@tidestrike.app.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Check the “Last updated” date above for the most recent version.
